Fat Tuesday is, if nothing else, an incredible excuse to party in the middle of the week. And it will come as no surprise to learn that many New York City Cajun, Creole and barbecue joints are throwing Mardi Gras parties, while plenty of places with no ties to the Big Easy are creating special New Orleans-inspired menus as well.
