Summer is a great time to look for wine deals in the city, as restaurants look for ways to entice customers inside. But who can keep track of all the different details? Eater can!
Head Sommelier Michael Madrigale announces via email and on his Instagram @mikemadrigale which big bottle (magnum, double magnum, or bigger) he will be offering by the glass each night. Glass pours are generally $29 or less, and the value for the dollar is usually strong, with many super prestigious bottles having been opened over the years. This is a rotating selection of wines that normally wouldn’t be opened for by the glass pours because there are few bottles available. Every other Saturday features a drop in wine tasting opportunity at Del Posto. Guests get to try 5 different wine tastes, grouped by a different theme for each tasting, for only $5 in cash.
