Restaurant Marc Forgione will do two seatings New Year's Eve. The first, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., is five courses for $95 per person. The second, from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m. is six courses plus a glass of Champagne for $195 per person. Menu items will include egg drop soup, chili lobster on Texas toast, and a Champagne-glazed torta.

Reynard at Wythe Hotel

Andrew Tarlow's restaurant in the Wythe Hotel will serve a four-course prix fixe meal for $95 per person. The menu will include a raw bar course, caviar, and a choice of lobster or steak for the entree. The restaurant will be taking reservations in two seatings, one early and one late.

EN Japanese Brasserie

Chef Abe Hiroki (and anyone else who wants to try their hand) will do the traditional year-end Mochitsuki, pounding mochi rice cakes with a giant wooden hammer and stone pestle. The restaurant will also offer two Kaiseki menus for either $95 or $135 per person. The first will include stone-grilled Black Angus strip and yellowtail shabu shabu, and the second will include filet mignon katsu and Alaskan king crab with soba noodles. From 9:00 p.m. to midnight, only the $135 menu will be available, and at midnight EN will ring in the New Year with Kagami Biraki, the breaking open of a barrel of sake.

Torrisi's New Year's menu will include oysters, Peekytoe crab arancini, a choice of zuppa di pesce or veal parm, and ice cream cake for dessert. Chef Galen Zamarra will offer a four-course dinner for $95 per person. The exact menu has yet to be decided, but as usual the dishes will all be cooked over a wood fired grill.

Tocqueville Restaurant

Tocqueville will offer a three-course prix fixe menu with options that will include bison tartare, oven-roasted oysters, smoked duck breast, homemade tofu, and spice-crusted venison loin. The first seating, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. is $85 per person, while the second seating, from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. is $110 per person. Additionally, a five-course tasting menu will be available all night for $125 per person. The tasting menu will include tuna tartare, cod with black truffles, and grilled rack of lamb.

Northern Spy Food Co.

Northern Spy will offer four courses plus "a few surprises" for $75 per person. The menu will include Brussels sprout salad, celery root bisque, and halibut or beef sirloin. The restaurant is taking reservations for three seatings that evening, at 6:00, 8:00, and 10:00 p.m.

The Soho location is selling tickets for parties of two to 12 for its family-style New Year's Celebration. The meal, focussing on foods cooked with smoke and fire, will include a fireplace-roasted antipasto plate, a round of communal salads and appetizers, and a choice of two or three entrees, such as slow roasted lamb shoulder and whole black sea bass, for the table. Tickets must be purchased online. The total cost of each ticket, which includes food, sales tax, a 20 percent gratuity, and a Paypal admin fee is $100.08.

Frankies 457

Frankies 457 will be offering a four-course menu for $85 per person. Course selections will include raw artichoke salad, uni spaghetti, suckling pig, and veal cheek. The Manhattan location will serve its own four-course dinner in two seatings. The early seating will be $85 per person, with a menu of lobster salad, black ink fusilli, slow roasted lamb loin, and warm kabocha squash torta. The late seating, at $125 per person, will include expanded menu options.

They're calling themselves "No. 7 Steakhouse" for New Year's, and serving a three-course, family-style meal. The meal will cost $100 per person, and will include wine and beer. Seatings will be at 6:00, 8:00, and 10:00 p.m.

Thistle Hill Tavern

On New Year's Eve, Thistle Hill Tavern will offering a special four-course prix fixe during two seatings. The menu will include things like chilled lobster, beef tartare, risotto, sweet potato gnocchi, and brandade of cod. The early dinner will cost $50, and the later meal will be priced at $65.

The Library at The Public

The Library will be offering a three-course menu with a Champagne toast on New Year's Eve for $95 per person. The menu will include gnocchi with roasted mushroom ragu, seafood salad with fennel, oxtail consomme with foie gras, and braised short ribs with polenta. And, from 10:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., The Library will host a cocktail party with a live performance by Julian Velard, an open bar, passed canapes, and a "chef's market table" for $155 per person. The Midtown member of the Momofuku family is taking reservations for one seating at 10 p.m. New Year's Eve. The restaurant will be serving a special four-course prix fixe menu with the large-format chicken and rice. The meal will cost $95 per person, and it will end with a Champagne toast midnight.

Perilla

Perilla is taking reservations for two seatings on New Year's Eve. The restaurant will be serving a three-course prix fixe menu, with courses such as scallop ceviche with foie gras mousse, slow-roasted cod with Lebanese moussaka, and roasted squab with black trumpet mushrooms. The second seating will also include an additional mid course of gnudi and black truffle.

Buttermilk Channel

Buttermilk Channel will serve a three-course dinner for $95 per person, with menu items such as crispy sweetbreads, Maine lobster tart, ricotta and chestnut ravioli, duck meatloaf, and the classic fried chicken with cheddar waffles. Raw or roasted oysters will also be available for an additional charge.

The first two seatings, at 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. include a three-course prix fixe meal for $75 per person. The final seating, at 10:00 p.m. includes four courses and a champagne toast for $95 per person. Hecho en Dumbo

Hecho en Dumbo will serve a four-course prix fixe menu for $75 per person, with dishes like Veracruz-style lobster soup, battered grilled cactus stuffed with queso Oaxaca, and house-smoked Berkshire pork loin. The meal will also include a free Champagne toast at midnight. Alternatively, you can get an all-night open bar for $100 per person, or buy both the meal and the open bar for $175. There will be a Mariachi band and DJ sets throughout the night.

There will be both an early and a late seating on New Year's Eve, the former for $75 per person and the latter for $119 per person. The early, four-course menu will include smoked goose breast, crispy pork belly, New York strip steak, lobster ravioli, and roasted venison loin. The later, five-course menu is mostly the same, but with the choice of foie gras torchon or wild mushroom tart for the additional course.

Chef Preston Clark is celebrating fish and fowl with a large format feast for New Year's Eve. Beginning at 9:00 p.m. the restaurant will serve an array of snacks, charcuterie, sausages, whole animals, and more, including duck fat & fennel pollen popcorn, smoked trout rilette, King Crab legs, crab and duck fried rice, whole roasted ducks and salt-crusted striped bass. Reservations are $150 per person, and they also include a full open bar. Resto is also accepting reservations from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. for a special a la carte menu focused on duck, shellfish, and dry aged steaks.
