Okonomi is the tiny new Williamsburg restaurant from Yuji Ramen's Yuji Haraguchi. Right now, Chef Yuji is serving a set menu, which includes a simple assortment of fish, vegetables, rice, and soup for just $9. In the coming months, the chef will expand the menu to include ramen, street food, and omakase tastings. For the time being, Okonomi is only open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the weekend. [Facebook]

Chef/restaurateur Krzysztof Drzewiecki recently expanded his North Brooklyn empire with the opening of this Polish cafe on Bedford Avenue. The chef, who previously worked for Nobu, has created a menu of greatest hits from his other restaurants. Options include salmon tartare, boar ribs, goulash-stuffed potato pancakes, and pierogies galore. Dziupla is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. [Dziupla]

For their follow-up to Buttermilk Channel, Doug Crowell and Ryan Angulo opened a cozy French bistro on Atlantic Avenue. The menu has raw bar paltes, a foie gras and country ham terrine, snails with house-cured bacon, three versions of steak frites, and several vegetable-based entrees. Restaurateur George Weld and chef Evan Hanczor recently moved their beloved Williamsburg cafe Egg into the space that formerly housed their other restaurant, Parish Hall. Now, guests can enjoy Hanczor's market-driven American fare in a more relaxed, spacious setting. The new version of Egg is open for lunch and breakfast during the week, and brunch on the weekends. In addition to bar snacks and shareable plates, Lachlan serves hearty dishes like braised short ribs with polenta, gemelli pasta with mushrooms, and a fried chicken sandwich. Emily is the new Clinton Hill Italian restaurant from husband and wife team Matthew and Emily Hyland. Matthew spent time in the kitchens of Public and The Breslin before learning about pizza-making at Pizzamoto and Sottocasa. His menu includes 13 wood-fired pizzas, as well as fresh pasta dishes, salads, and a few meaty starters like rabbit rillettes and crispy pig ears. [Krieger]

Dover is the Carroll Gardens restaurant from Battersby chefs Joseph Ogrodnek and Walker Stern. The chefs are working with a much bigger kitchen this time, and the dining room is about twice the size of the one at their Smith Street critical darling. Ogrodnek and Stern recently served dishes like hamachi crudo, Maine sea urchin with soba, cod with smoked bacon and beets, pork belly with roasted fruit, beef ribeye, and duck with black kale. In addition to the a la carte menu, a five-course tasting is also available for $75. Pete Wells recently gave Dover two stars.[Krieger]

After years of delays, restaurateur Erin Norris finally opened this cozy Red Hook bistro in December. Chef Aaron Taber and sous chef Leon Douglas are serving rustic dishes like pork cheeks with white beans, merguez with chickpeas and artichokes, and mushrooms en papillote. Taber and Douglas are making all the breads and pastas in-house. [Krieger]
