Dollar Oyster Deals in NYC, Mapped

From happy hours to all-day deals, here’s where to go for a low-cost bivalve fix

View as Map

Since oysters are a luxury good and can fetch upwards of $4 for a loner, it’s a pleasure to find bivalves available for a dollar each — albeit mostly East Coast, often Blue Points, which can be perfectly lovely. Deals often run during off times, like early happy hours or Saturday afternoons, but some do exist at prime times. Here now, a guide to where to find dollar oysters in New York City, mapped for your slurping ease.

Note: This map was originally published in 2017 — and it strictly includes oysters for $1.
