10 Awesome Bodega Taquerias in New York City

View as Map

122008_10_hasmaps.jpgSome of New York’s most-raved about taquerias are hidden in the back of cramped bodegas, shoved in between a cash register, a deli counter, and shelves lined with more Mexican products than you even knew existed. These hard-to-find spots are the unsung heros of New York’s Mexican restaurant scene, serving up cheap, authentic, and tasty eats from tacos to burritos to chilaquiles. Unfortunately, because of the nondescript storefronts housing these gems, unless you randomly stumble into one while looking for a late night snack or get the nod from a friend in the know, you may never happen upon one of these taquerias. But have no fear — here is a map of 10 of New York's finest bodega taquerias.
