Here's a look around two new restaurants that opened last week on Extra Place near the intersection of 1st Street and the Bowery. Both projects share a door and a chef, but the concepts are distinctly different. Heidi offers Swiss-influenced food, including fondue and raclette, and Extra Place serves Mediterranean fare, with several dishes for two. The executive chef for both restaurants, Michael Han, previously worked at Ciano. Check out the menus below:
