A huge Shake Shack with outdoor seating heads to Midtown
Another Shake Shack is headed to Midtown — this time with outdoor seating. The Theater District is getting a new location at 1700 Broadway between West 53rd and 54th streets that will have a whopping 152 outdoor seats in a plaza at the office building. There will also be more than 2,000-square-feet for an inside ground-floor restaurant.
The Danny Meyer-founded burger chain now has locations around the world, and there’s been one in Times Square area for years now, long an easy and fast pre-theater dining option that’s constantly crowded. This will be the second location in the immediate area.
