Amazon’s Jeff Bezos and girlfriend Lauren Sanchez stopped by Emily in the West Village for some pizza and burgers. It was reportedly the first time that they’ve gone out together since news broke in January that they’d been having an affair with each other.

Meanwhile, “Bohemian Rhapsody” star Rami Malek was again spotted dining in New York, this time at posh Midtown restaurant the Russian Tea Room with two friends. He was also recently seen dining solo at Hotel Americano restaurant La Central.

A Harry Potter-themed dining event confirms NYC venue

On August 17 and 18, Harry Potter fans can dine in a replica of the Hogwarts Great Hall at Pier 60 at Chelsea Piers — which will be decked out in wizardly decor, floating candles included. The theatrical brunch and dinner, called “Wizard’s Brunch & Dinner,” will include a three-course meal, competitive games, and live music. Promotional videos show over-the-top performances with lots of smoky effects. Tickets are on sale now.

Hudson Yards is one of the coldest places of the city

Mega-development Hudson Yards — home to several new restaurants like Kawi and Belcampo — is located on the far west side of Manhattan, between Tenth and Twelfth avenues, bordering the Hudson River, and apparently it gets quite cold. It’s an area that gets a lot of wind blowing off the Hudson, plus the surrounding skyscrapers create inescapable wind tunnels, which can make the neighborhood several degrees cooler than the rest of Manhattan, the WSJ reports.

New York’s newest cookbook was written by a 12-year-old

Esme Washburn, a 12-year-old New Yorker, is behind the new cookbook “20 Recipes Kids Should Know,” in which she shares recipes for a grilled cheese, black bean soup, and pasta (made from scratch). It’s a family production: The photos in the book were taken by Washburn’s 17-year-old sister Calista.

A new Mediterranean restaurant on the UWS

On the Upper West Side, the team behind Mediterranean restaurant Tessa are currently working on another restaurant in the neighborhood: It’ll be called Asset and located at 329 Columbus Ave., between 75th and 76th streets.

Philippe staffers reportedly walk out after ‘glitches’ in payment system

Staffers have reportedly walked out on the new Philippe location in Chelsea’s Dream Downtown hotel due to payment issues. Page Six quotes an anonymous source saying the staff are “abandoning a sinking ship” after their checks bounced. But the restaurant rejects the allegations, saying that no employee walked out over this and that the “technical glitch” with the payment system has been smoothed out.

Hell’s Kitchen deli worker stabbed after stopping a robbery

A worker at Hell’s Kitchen deli Carve Cafe at 717 Eighth Ave., near Times Square, was stabbed after stopping an attempted robbery inside the restaurant. On Monday around 4 a.m., a man and a woman walked into the deli and tried to steal a diner’s bag before the employee chased them off. When the worker caught up to the thieves, he was stabbed in the stomach; the victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital.
