Dan and John’s is bringing its cult-loved Buffalo chicken wings to Murray Hill this spring, debuting a second brick-and-mortar location for the brand in NYC.

Buffalo-raised pals Dan Borowski and John Henninger started slinging their wings in 2013 at Smorgasburg, eventually opening a restaurant in the East Village in 2015 that attracted long lines in its early days.

This spring, the duo will open a much bigger location in Murray Hill at 439 Third Ave., between East 30th and 31st streets. It will have 45 seats, tripling the size of its East Village shop, and while the straightforward food menu will remain the same, they’re also adding a full bar that will have Buffalo-inspired cocktails, including a take on a bloody mary that will be topped with a Buffalo wing and blue cheese olive.

Dan and John’s gained a following for its traditional Buffalo wings, which come in five spice levels of Buffalo sauce or two variations of barbecue, sweet or spicy. There are also boneless wings, chicken fingers, a chicken finger sub, and salad, along with tots or fries for sides — but it’s really a classic wings operation.

In addition to continuing to operate at Smorgasburg, Dan and John’s also opened in Citi Field. The new Dan and John’s is slated to open in mid-March.
