Quality Branded, the restaurant group behind popular NYC restaurants like Quality Meats and Quality Italian, will open a new restaurant in Midtown at 1345 Avenue Of the Americas, just a few blocks south of Central Park.

A representative for the restaurant could not provide any details as to the cuisine of the new restaurant at this time, but a press release notes that it will be a “new concept.” Presumably, that means it won’t just be another iteration of the brand’s other restaurants, like the perpetually busy Quality Eats, an affordable steakhouse with three locations in the city. The new space is close to 10,000 square feet and occupies the ground floor of the Midtown tower owned by real estate company Fisher Brothers. Quality Branded signed a 20-year lease.

Father-son duo Alan and Michael Stillman, along with partner chef Craig Koketsu, run a slew of meaty Manhattan restaurants, like the wine, steak, and seafood restaurant Maloney & Porcelli and steakhouse icon Smith & Wollensky. The company also has a hand in West Village Italian-American restaurant Don Angie, which received a two-star review from Pete Wells in May.

The yet-to-be-named new restaurant is set to debut in 2019. Stay tuned for updates.
