The season-long Hamptons pop-up EMP Summer House from the Eleven Madison Park team will have run its course come Monday, September 3. But don’t think for a second that the faux casual restaurant will go quietly: None other than Leonardo DiCaprio toasted the space, the Post reports, and who knows who will show up to pay their respects during this weekend’s final hurrah.
The Amex-only hot spot had a good run, selling out most of its tenure — despite a pricey no-show policy of $50 per person forfeited — and collaborating with Shake Shack for crab- and lobster-topped burgers in addition to its painstaking lobster boil and fried chicken. The entire EMP team was bussed out to the summer destination and housed together for the past three months.
Come Tuesday, though, it’s back to reality. Eleven Madison Park 2.0 has started taking reservations for its reopening on Sunday, October 8. At last look, the grand restaurant was covered in graffiti — stay tuned for its new look.
