— After a flood has shuttered Agern — as Eater reported yesterday — the first of many Agern popups starts tonight at Rebelle (218 Bowery) with a $95, eight-course tasting menu in part of the restaurant. Reservations can be made by emailing reservations@agernrestaurant.com.
— Speaking of Claus Meyer, Norman, the joint restaurant with Fredrik Berselius in Greenpoint is scheduled to open April 3, after a months-long delay. Stay tuned for the menu and more.
—Lesly Bernard of Mr. Jones and Pravda is partnering with chef Melissa O’Donnell to transform what had been Thelma on Clinton into a Lebanese restaurant, Lil’gem, in May. The restaurant will feature a saj oven and rotisserie that will shape a menu of dips, pies, flatbreads, and shawarma. Look for specialties like smoked fish kibbeh, pickled octopus, and rotisserie duck.
— Alvin Cailan will start serving his LA-famous Eggslut sandwiches at the new Chefs Club Counter at 62 Spring St., starting at 7 a.m. Find out why it took 16 takes to create the perfect bun. — The police released video of the mugging of Silvano Marchetto, owner of the now-closed Da Silvano, that occurred between midnight and 1 a.m. in the lobby of his building. Marchetto was badly injured. They’re still looking for the suspects.

— Resy has partnered with Frankies Spuntino Group for The Franks’ Backyard Chef Series hosted in the backyard garden of Frankies 457 Spuntino (457 Court St.) that starts April 20 and runs through October. Tickets are $100 per person, with proceeds from each dinner donated to a chefs’-choice charity. Presale tickets will be available exclusively for American Express card members through the Resy app beginning on April 5 at 7:00 a.m. Remaining tickets will be available starting at 9:00 a.m. on April 7.
