After just over six years in Williamsburg, beloved neighborhood bar, The Drink (228 Manhattan Ave.) will close Sunday, Feb. 19th. The building has been sold.
“The neighborhood — and the drinks scene — has changed drastically, and so to must we change with it,” reads the announcement. “It's been truly an honor to not only serve our community good drinks, but to act as a place for people to celebrate, to mourn, to gather for activism, to adopt as their second living room, and lets be honest, to throw ALL the birthdays and meet on all the Tinder dates (oh god so many dates).”
Expect a blowout at The Drink on Saturday as well as events all week listed on its Facebook page.
