Du’s Donuts, chef Wylie Dufresne’s doughnut shop in Williamsburg, will be the next iteration of Chefs Club Counter, the rotating fast-casual pop-up space in Soho.
The science-forward chef, famed for his now-shuttered molecular gastronomy restaurant Wd~50, is bringing his cake doughnuts in the William Vale Hotel over the bridge into Manhattan for the fall.
Starting Friday, October 6, the space will sell eight to ten rotating doughnut flavors such as caramel apple, Mexican hot chocolate, peanut butter yuzu, and brown butter key lime, and more, as well as scrambled egg grilled cheese sandwiches, double berry ice cream sandwiches, and Brooklyn Roasting Company hot and cold brew coffee. New items will be added throughout the season.
This location will be open weekdays at 8 a.m. and weekends at 9 a.m. until sold out. For the first day, the first 200 customers will get free mini doughnuts and coffee milk.
