The team behind perennially busy cocktail bars like Dear Irving and Raines Law Room is pumping out four more restaurant bars in the next year.
Yves Jadot Restaurant Group — known for cocktail bars and speakeasy vibes — will be opening a pizza restaurant, an underground lounge, a Great Gatsby-themed rooftop bar, and a to-be-named rooftop brewery this fall and into 2018.
First up will be a pizza restaurant at 1216 Broadway at West 30th Street. Gloria NoMad, will open next month with Neapolitan pizza, including gluten-free pies, from chef Aurelio Petra*.
The same building will house an underground lounge called Illicit, a bar with multiple rooms that will open in February of 2018.
In December of this year, a building near Bryant Park at 1412 Broadway will be home to a rooftop bar that’s supposed to look like the home of Daisy Buchanan in The Great Gatsby. The bar, called Daisy, will have a view of the Times Square ball and will be a reservations-only cocktail bar with bites. The team is calling it “swanky.”
And finally, Yves will be opening a fourth project in the next year, a rooftop brewery.
The company, founded by Brussels-native Yves Jadot, has been around since 1995. It has a dozen businesses across New York City, ranging from upscale cocktaileries like The Bennett to bars like The Shakespeare Tavern.
*Update: An earlier version of this story noted that the chef was Giulio Adriani based on incorrect information from a spokesperson for the group. It has been updated with the correct details.
