Randolph Beer opens its third beer bar this week, this time in Dumbo with games, 24 self-serve taps, comfort food, and a raw bar. The 5,500-square-foot space at 82 Prospect Street, near Pearl Street, is similar to the first two locations, though with the addition of house-brewed beer for the group’s first time.
The menu is standard pub fare, with various sandwiches, bowls, and Southern-influenced starters like fried catfish sliders and mac and cheese from chef Masterful Davis.
The focus here, though, is on the beer. Brewmaster JR Jordan created a list of brews alongside six house-brewed beers. This is the first time Randolph is adding its own beer into the mix — six on-site tanks are fermenting a hoppy kolsch, a saison, a pale ale, a sour wit, a wet-hopped marzen, and an unfiltered harvest ale. The full menu is below.
Games in the open industrial space include pinball, shuffleboard, arcade machines, and more. Randolph, which has locations in Nolita and Williamsburg, popularized self-serve taps priced by the ounce for maximum sampling ability. Now, it’s bringing that to the growing Dumbo neighborhood, which in recent weeks has seen the openings of restaurants like Celestine and Sugarcane.
Randolph Beer opens Thursday, October 26 and will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. Its first two days it will open at 5 p.m.
