After a 15-year stretch, Jane on Houston Street has been sold to the restaurant group behind Docks Oyster Bar and brunch dominatrix Sarabeth’s.

Ownership transferred on Dec. 19, with RBM Group keeping the name and the menu for now; a Jane employee said staff can’t talk about changes in the works yet.

Jane was the first property of what became Corner Table Restaurants, the group that runs four locations of The Smith in New York, with a fifth location to open this year in Washington D.C.’s Penn Quarter.

“We're incredibly proud of Jane and grateful for the talented team of people who have made it such a beloved part of neighborhood for so many years,” Jeffrey Lefcourt, founder and managing partner, says in a press release. “We've been lucky to have loyal guests who have dined with us from the start."
