Westfield World Trade Center Mall Now Open With New Dining Options

The Westfield World Trade Center Mall is now open featuring 365,000 square feet of dining and shopping. After years of delays, the sprawling transit destination made its debut on Tuesday inside the World Trade Center Transportation Hub "Oculus." Newly opened food purveyors inside the hub include Lady M pastry cafe, juice shop mini-chain Joe and the Juice, Sugarfina, and Choza Taqueria, according to Flo Fab. The Times also notes that plans are underway for openings of the Lobster Press, Nunu Chocolates, Little Hunter, Shake Shack, and Market Lane later this year.

Oculus is the new transportation hub with access to 11 subway lines, and the center of a path that stretches from Fulton Center to Brookfield Place. The hub also connects over 300,000 daily commuters to the newly opened Eataly Downtown, located on the third floor of 4 World Trade Center. On Vesey Street, Brookfield Place — formerly known as the World Financial Center — is the third and final ring giving visitors more food and shopping options. Here, dining options include Jose Garce’s Amada, Blue Ribbon Sushi, an outpost of Mighty Quinn’s, Le District - the massive French food hall.

The Westfield World Trade Center Mall is open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sundays. Stay tuned for more news on restaurant openings at the new WTC Mall as they become available.
