Mathieu Palombino is bringing his hit Neapolitan pizzeria to the Upper West Side, the chef tells Eater. This will be the third Motorino in New York City, Palombino also operates pizzerias in Hong Kong, Singapore, and the Philippines. The new outpost will be located at 510 Columbus Avenue. The restaurant will occupy an approximately 600 square foot space with seating for 25 guests. The focus will be on both dine-in and delivery service.
Palombino is installing an Acunto wood fired oven, just like at the other locations. The menu, which features a selection of appetizers as well as doctrinaire Neapolitan pizza, is also expected to be the same as Palombino's other restaurants. Motorino UWS is slated to open in August, initially offering dinner service, with lunch expected shortly after.
