Tribeca standby Raccoon Lodge will be closing tonight after last call, brining its nearly 35 years in business to an end. The Warren Street favorite was originally set to close in January when its building was slated to be demolished for a new high-rise, but the plans changed and it ended up sticking around for five more months. While there was hope earlier this year for a spinoff, members of the CB1 voted to deny its liquor license in MayA staffer now tells DNAinfo that Raccoon Lodge does not have plans to move.

According to Tribeca Citizen, the party started at Raccoon Lodge earlier today, and will continue until 4:00 a.m. tonight. Owner Ace Nowara is bringing in barbecue from his Croton-on-Hudson restaurant Memphis Mae’s BBQ Bistro. This is the second closing of a Tribeca favorite this month.
