Bay Area-style taqueria mini-chain Dos Toros is now one step closer to Midtown lunch domination. Owners Leo and Oliver Kremer opened their third Midtown location on Monday at 52 West 52nd Street near Rockefeller Center. It’s the chain’s 11th location and one of several outposts planned in the area, including one on 40th Street. With nearly 30 seats, the new Sixth Avenue and West 52nd Street taqueria is one of the biggest Dos Toros yet, and the company says that after the lunch rush, it's already on track to be one of their biggest grand openings.

As part of the opening, all menu items cost $1 today. The store is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends. Dos Toros first opened near Union Square in 2009 and quickly rose in popularity for its Bay Area-style burritos. But it’s only been in the past couple years that the Kremer brothers have aggressively pursued expansion. Besides Midtown, they’ve opened in Downtown Brooklyn and FiDi, and they’re planning to debut at least 15 more taquerias in the next few years.
