A Look at Metrograph Commissary, a Restaurant at the LES's New Movie Theater

It opens tonight

Here is a look around the Metrograph Commissary, the restaurant portion of the ambitious Lower East Side cinema and dining complex. The cinema opened a few weeks back, but tonight marks the debut of the dining room and its approachable bistro menu (see below). The restaurant is inspired by the backlot cafeterias of Hollywood studios during the roaring 1920's. If you happen to visit, do tell us all about it.

Wooden tables and chairs are set up for service in a well-lit dining room that’s outfitted with plants. Nick Solares/Eater NY
