New York chefs, restaurateurs, and bartenders cleaned up big at last night's James Beard Foundation Awards in Chicago. Ken Friedman, the co-creator of The Spotted Pig and its offspring, received the coveted Outstanding Restaurateur award. Brooklyn cocktail destination Maison Premiere took home the Outstanding Bar Program award. The hospitality obsessives at Eleven Madison Park nabbed the medal for Outstanding Service. Cosme's chef de cuisine Daniela Soto-Innes was the recipient of this year's Rising Star Chef of the Year award. Former NYC golden boy Zak Pelaccio scored a win in the Best Chef: Northeast category for his work at Fish & Game up in Hudson, NY. And Jonathan Waxman took home the JBFA in the category of Best Chef: New York City for his work at Barbuto.

A few NYC restaurants also received design awards. In the category of "75 Seats and Under," Demian Repucci's Bruno Pizza was tied with Renzo Piano Building Workshop's Untitled. The Four Seasons also received a special"Design Icon" award.
