The upcoming Tim Burton-themed bar and restaurant in the East Village now has a name: Beetle House. The news comes just one month after Confessional left the space at 308 East Sixth Street, EV Grieve reports. It's the second project for the owners behind Stay Classy, a bar dedicated to another big fish: Will Ferrell. Menu items at Beetle House are all inspired by Burton's movies and characters, including dishes like Edward Burger Hands, Cheshire Mac, Sweeney Beef, and Eggs Skellington. Corpse reviving cocktails include the Alice’s Cup of Tea, The Headless Horseman, and the Chocolate Factory Martini and are priced between $12 and $16. The restaurant also has a joke about meat being "sourced locally from 100% innocent humans captured wild on the streets of NYC." (All good and well, but might we suggest adding a big eye tuna dish, a frankenweenie dog, or, perhaps, a cocktail served in a giant peach?) Showtime for Beetle House is set for the end of the month, though no specific date has been released. Burton fans can text 646-510-4786 for updates.
