On Saturday, Danny Bowien's Mission Cantina is hosting Chad Robertson of San Francisco's Tartine Bakery, and Inaki Aizpitarte — the famed French chef of Paris's Le Chateaubriand. The menu at "Cantina Frat Party / Anchovy Trilogy" will feature collaborative dishes like bread service with anchovy butter from Robertson and Bowien, as well as special Aizpitarte dishes like anchovy, feta, and asparagus tacos. Robertson, who has previously partnered with Rose Bakery and Roberta's, is reportedly looking to open a bread-only bakery in Brooklyn.
Drink options at the frat party come from Mission Chinese Food's Sam Anderson and include magnums of Basque and orange wines, house-made punch, a keg, and a Michelada bar.
