1) Nomad: Michelle Gauthier opened a second outpost of her fast-casual healthy eatery Mulberry & Vine this week. The brand new 27th Street location is serving organic options like charred avocado with pumpkin seed yogurt puree, red lentil and kale dal, and chipotle black-eye pea stew for lunch and dinner. 2) West Village: The Warren is a new restaurant and bar on Christopher Street serving new American fare. Options on the menu include East and West Coast oysters, chicken liver parfait, fluke crudo, short rib poutine, and a meat and cheese board. The Warren offers happy hour with $7 drinks and appetizers until 7 p.m. Status: Certified Open; 131 Christopher St., 212-243-1311

3) Kips Bay: The I Trulli team opened Nic & Dora's Italian Sandwich Shop next door. The restaurant serves individual wood-fired pizzas like ricotta with oven-dried tomatoes, carbonara, and sausage with broccoli rabe fro $9.50. Soups and sandwiches are available for less than $10. Plus: wines are available for $5.50 per glass. The shop closes at 4 p.m. daily. Status: Certified Open; 124 East 27th Street, 212-481-7372

4) Bed-Stuy: Last month, Captain Dan's Good Time Tavern opened on Greene Avenue. A manager at Dan's tells DNAinfo that the bar serves a mix of high-end cocktails and dive bar drinks. Snack options include smokey eggplant dip, chicken live bacon balls, and cheddar cheese straws. Status: Certified Open; 497 Greene Avenue, 718-975-3887

5) Astoria: Michael Lien recently opened District Mot with his father and chef, Lam Lien, on Astoria's Broadway. The Vietnamese restaurant and cocktail bar is serving dishes like Japanese eggplant, salt and pepper shrimp, pickled mango summer rolls, and betel leaf lamb. District Mot is open everyday starting at 12 p.m. Status: Certified Open; 37-15 Broadway, 718-956-0007

6) Crown Heights: Union Street Pub offers over a dozen craft beers on tap, with even more available in bottles. Union Street offers a $4 Bloody Mary and mimosa happy hour from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. every weekend. Status: Certified Open; 835 Franklin Avenue

7) Financial District: UK chain Wasabi Sushi is among the first of many new establishments coming to the new Fulton Center Station. Sushi and bento boxes are individually wrapped and served to-go. Status: Certified Open; 200 Broadway

8) Bed-Stuy: A new cafe called Nostrand popped up on its namesake street last month. The location serves Korean dishes like a bulgogi burrito, kimchi fried rice, a tofu burger, and pork bulgogi with rice and avocado. Nostrand is set to start serving beer and wine in April. 9) Gramercy: Barbara Matsumara, the restaurateur behind Joe's Shanghai and Haru, is opening Natsumi Tapas today in Gramercy. Matsumara brought on chef Haru Konagaya, formerly of Haru Restaurants, to bring Japanese-Italian dishes like tofu ravioli, green tea gnocchi, and chicken katsu penne.
