Chocolatier Jacques Torres will unveil renovations on his Grand Central Terminal cafe Monday — along with a new, expanded menu with sandwiches, salads, and tartines. Despite Torres' reputation for making sweets, Jacques Torres Chocolate Ice Cream Shop has pumped up the most on savory food. Commuters can now pick up options like a roast beef sandwich with celery root, lettuce, and horseradish sauce; Croque-Monsieur with ham, gruyere, and béchamel sauce; and goat cheese and spinach turnovers with kale, caramelized onions, and roasted peppers.
