Schnipper's Quality Kitchen will open a fifth location this spring. The new store will be located at 120 Church Street between Park Place and Murray, in a 3,300 square foot space that will accommodate approximately 110 guests. Proprietor Andrew Schnipper tells Eater that the fast-casual model of ordering at the counter and having the food delivered to your table will remain but there will now be "full tableware (plates, cutlery, etc.) to really make it feel like a restaurant."
Schnipper's Quality Kitchen was founded back in 2009 by brothers Andrew and Jonathan Schnipper, who had previously launched and later sold the Hale & Hearty Soup chain. Schnipper's specializes in hamburgers, sandwiches, and other comfort foods. Schnipper's operates two location in Midtown, one in the Flatiron District, and a kiosk in the One NY Plaza food court.
The menu at the Church Street location will be the same as at the other Schnipper's stores, but there will be a new small burger selection called "Little Schnipps." By the time the new location opens, Schnipper's will be exclusively sourcing free-range, antibiotic-free chicken for their entire menu across all locations.
