Inside Nix, a New Downtown Vegetarian Restaurant from Dovetail's John Fraser

Greenwich Village has a new vegetable option

Here is a look around chef John Fraser's Nix, which opens opens tonight in Greenwich Village. Fraser has teamed up with former Conde Nast editorial director James Truman to open this casual vegetarian restaurant. Chipotle founder/co-CEO Steve Ells is also a partner.  Fraser is tinkering with the menu up until the very last minute, but expect dishes like shitake mushrooms "cacio e pepe," house-made naan with dips, wood-roasted broccoli rabe, and carrots cooked in a style that's reminiscent of cashew chicken. If you stop by do let us know what you think.
