Popular Clinton Hill restaurant Emily's spinoff square-pie pizzeria is landing in Williamsburg this spring, Grub Street reports. Emmy Squared was originally going to be a takeout spot in Clinton Hill, but a legal dispute forced Matt and Emily Hyland to look elsewhere. They landed at the huge space at 364 Grand St., where restaurant Bill Baker's just closed this week. More room means Emmy Squared will end up being a sit-down restaurant instead, with 50 seats, a bar, and a fuller menu than originally planned. The core of the offerings will still be Detroit-inspired square pies topped with red sauce and Italian-American sandwiches, and the Hylands are still anticipating spring opening.
