1) Hell's Kitchen: East Village's Taqueria Diana, a California-inspired Mexican restaurant, opened an outpost on Ninth Avenue. It's the third location of the taqueria, which serves tacos, nachos, burritos, and quesadillas. 2) Bed-Stuy: Farm-to-table restaurant Eva Jean's has a "new-American and eclectic" menu that was created with the help of Brooklyn Cured's Scott Bridi and an A Voce Madison alum named Plutarco Tapia. 3) Bushwick: Owners of the wine bar Tuffet opened a late night tiki bar called The Shipwreck Lounge. It's open to the public only from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m. and is otherwise available just for the guests of theater The Grand Paradise. 4) Astoria: Broadway now has a new ramen shop called Shuya Cafe de Ramen. Besides ramens with chicken and fish broths, the restaurant serves whole pots of tea, pickled vegetables, pork buns, and homemade potato chips. Status: Certified Open; 42-13 Broadway, Queens, 718-777-0430

5) Upper East Side: Los Angeles chain Pressed Juicery opened its second location in New York. The cold-pressed juice company, which has about 35 locations, serves juices, cold-pressed coffee, specialty waters, and grab-and-go snacks. Status: Certified Open; 1240 Lexington Ave.
6) Harlem: La Salle Dumpling House opened this week with Shanghai-inspired Chinese food, including noodles, dumplings, and soup dumplings. "It's sort of like what you get at an Americanized Chinese restaurant, but not as greasy," an employee says. Status: Soft Open; 3141 Broadway, 212-961-0300
7) Williamsburg: Greek takeout restaurant To Spiti makes its own yogurt daily and aims to keep all the items under $6. Salad, moussaka, gyros, spinach pie, and a variety of dips are available for order. Status: Certified Open; 160 Havemeyer St., Brooklyn, 929-295-9863
8) Williamsburg: The owners of Princesa Bakery now have a taqueria on Grand Street called Tacoffee. It has 234 items on the menu, with a mixture of frozen items and handmade ones like leches cakes, tortilla, and al pastor tacos. Status: Certified Open; 527 Grand St., Brooklyn, 718-388-93913
