John Fraser to Open Vegetarian Restaurant Near Union Square

The chef behind Dovetail and Narcissa is going full-vegetarian at his third New York City restaurant.

Daniel Krieger

John Fraser, the Michelin-starred chef who first introduced Meatless Mondays at Dovetail in 2010, and created many memorable vegetarian dishes such as carrots Wellington at Narcissa, is getting ready to open his own vegetarian restaurant in the Union Square area. Fraser has managed to keep his project under the radar, quietly constructing for months, but he is now getting ready to open his doors. The restaurant is said to be just a few blocks south of where Jean-Georges Vongerichten plans to open his veggie mecca, ABCV. Stay tuned for more details on Fraser's new restaurant as they become available.
