Ahi Poke at Makana: On the penultimate day, My True Love presented me with a great gift — real Hawaiian poke with no extra rice or roughage! It came from a humble Hawaiian barbecue organized along the lines of a Chinese carryout, so far up the Upper West Side that I thought about enrolling at Columbia University, as I exited the orange premises, wiping what was perhaps too much dressing off my lips. 161 W 106th St, 212-678-4569
