Daniel Boulud’s celebrated casual concept Epicerie Boulud is now open inside the World Trade Center’s transportation hub Oculus. On Saturday, the Michelin-starred chef opened the third location of Epicerie Boulud across from the WTC Apple Store in a 1,500 square foot space. Over 300,000 daily commuters can now visit the cafe for dine-in or take-out options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast options include egg sandwiches, oatmeal, yogurt parfaits, and sweet and savory croissants like a Provençal croissant with rosemary and olives. For the after-work crowd there are dinner options like roasted chicken, beef bourguignon, and coq au vin.
The 35-seat space also offers a grocery and market that sells homemade bread, charcuterie, cheeses, and sweets like ice cream, cakes, and chocolates. Epicerie Boulud is joined by a bevy of other food purveyors inside the hub including Lady M pastry cafe, juice shop mini-chain Joe and the Juice, Sugarfina, and Choza Taqueria.
