A Sweets Week Round Robin: Pastry Recommendations From Pastry Chefs

Where New York’s pastry chef get their sugar kick

In honor of Sweets Week, Eater looked to the city’s experts on pastries — the pastry chefs themselves. It’s a round robin of sorts. We went to one of New York’s most well-known pastry chefs first, Dominique Ansel, and asked him to name his favorite sweet in the city other than one of his own. Then, we asked that chef to name their favorite, and so on and so on. The result: a collection of some of the most memorable sweets, pastries, or desserts available right here in New York City. Below, check out what goodies NYC’s most revered pastry chefs like to eat.
