Things You Find at Nishi: Lines Out the Door on Opening Night

Momofuku Nishi is now officially open to the public. Here's a look at the scene outside the restaurant when the doors flung open 30 minutes ago:

A few stray bits of Nishi intel: Diners from friends & family meals were saying good things about the bundt cake. Also, apparently the wine list features some selections from UNEXPECTED LOCALES like Idaho. And apparently, somewhere down the road, the Nishi team plans to offer a large-format feast.
