After Cozinha Latina Split, Shanna Pacifico Lands at Extra Fancy

Last week, opening chef Shanna Pacifico left Cozinha Latina in Greenpoint along with restaurateur Josh Cohen (Anella) and bar manager Brett Helms (previously of Uncle Boons). Shanna and her associates didn't see eye-to-eye with the owners about the food and overall vibe of the restaurant. Now, Brooklyn Mag reports that Pacifico has landed at Extra Fancy in Williamsburg along with Cohen. Pacifico will make some additions to the menu, including some new bar bites for Extra Fancy's forthcoming outdoor dining area. Before her stint at Cozinha Latina, Pacifico worked at Back Forty West and her solo project Pacifico's Fine Foods.
