Mimi Cheng’s to Open New Soho Instagram Bait

The sisters behind boutique dumpling parlor Mimi Cheng's are planning another shop at 380 Broome Street in Soho. Marian Cheng tells Grub Street that this location will have a few tables, just like the East Village original, and it will have a slightly expanded menu. Right now, Mimi Cheng's offers three types of savory dumplings, plus seasonal sides, and dessert dumplings. Mimi's also serve a monthly special dumpling. In the past, these have included egg-stuffed brunch dumplings, and Thanksgiving dumplings. An order of six dumplings cost $8. The Broome Street outpost is slated to open this spring.
