Inside Vandal, The Latest Clubstaurant Attempting to Swallow NYC

New, 1 comment

It's basically Pan's Labyrinth with bottle service and fried olives.

Here is a look around Vandal, the new David Rockwell-designed 360-seat club / restaurant from the team behind Tao and Lavo, now open on the Bowery. Marc Packer, Rich Wolf, Noah Tepperberg, and Jason Strauss have partnered with chefs Chris Santos (Beauty & Essex, The Stanton Social), and Jonathan Kavourakis (The Stanton Social) on this new mega-monster. There are multiple dining rooms as well a s basement lounge in the 12,000 square foot space and a menu that has pretty much anything you can think of, including fried olives, Korean rice cakes, chicken mole, bacon ramen, a Thai papaya salad, a "knish reuben," and five different kinds of pizza. If you happen to stop by Vandal let us know what you think.
