The chef made some excellent charcuterie here.

Nine months ago, Mathieu Palombino opened a classic French bistro in the Lower East Side space that previously housed his short-lived casual restaurant Bowery DinerAnd now, Palombio has parted ways with that restaurant, La Gamelle.  He sold his stake to his partners and he's no longer the chef/proprietor. Now Palombino is focusing on his hit pizzeria Motorino. In addition to the Williamsburg restaurant and the one in the East Village, the chef also operates two locations in Hong Kong, plus outposts in Manila and Singapore. Mathieu also hints that there may be other Motorino locations in the works right here in NYC.
