Balaboosta's Einat Admony to Open Combina in Soho This November

Expect Spanish/Israeli small plates from the Taim chef.

Daniel Krieger

Einat Admony — the chef behind TaimBalaboosta, and Bar Bolonat — is planning a new restaurant in the West Broadway space that previously housed Japanese taco emporium Taka Taka. This new project will serve a mix of Israeli and Spanish cuisines. Admony is opening this restaurant with her partner/husband Stefan Nafziger, and Bar Bolonat's executive chef Molly Breidenthal will work with Einat in the kitchen. The menu will include small, shareable dishes like salt cod doughnuts and eggplant escabèche. The Robs explain that the name of this new venture, "Combina," means "creative solution" in Hebrew and "combines" in Spanish. It's slated to make its debut in November.
