Oliver and Leo Kremer — the brothers behind wildly popular Northern California-style taqueria mini chain Dos Toros — are planning to open a new location of their Mexican restaurant at 64 Court St. next week. This will be their second Dos Toros outpost in Brooklyn and eighth New York restaurant overall. Expect a menu that's identical to what's offered at the other locations, and approximately the same layout and overall vibe. The brothers have frequently cited hometown favorite Gordo taqueria in Berkeley, CA as an inspiration, and Oliver tells Eater: "Leo and I see Brooklyn as a sort of East Bay to Manhattan's San Francisco, so it feels like home."

The new Dos Toros will open next Wednesday, September 9, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony that will be attended by members of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce. The first location of Dos Toros opened in the East Village almost exactly six years ago.
