Iconic New York pizzeria Grimaldi's in DUMBO had a small fire last night in its kitchen. According to a tipster, efforts to put out the fire soaked the kitchen, but a staffer reports that the restaurant is open today and the pizzas are being cooked in the dining room's giant ovens, like always. Hopefully, the restaurant will get the kitchen cleaned up and back in action soon. An Eater tipster sends along this photo, which is purportedly a shot of the damaged kitchen:
