The Boerum Hill team is expanding to Harlem, too.

After several years of quietly making pies on Atlantic Avenue, the team at Neapolitan pizzeria Sottocasa is busy with expansion plans. You may recall that the team recently signed a lease for a space in Harlem, but before that location even opens, Williamsburg may get an outpost. The restaurant's name is on Community Board 1's docket for tonight, vying for a license for a prime spot along the southern border of McCarren Park, where Italian restaurant Cu Cooper 29 operated until this spring. The space already has a brick oven, so Sottocasa's owner and Keste alum Luca Arrigoni might not have to ship a two ton oven over from Italy like he did for his original location.

Also on the docket tonight, the much anticipated Brooklyn outlet of ramen-ya Ichiran, place called Hummus Market, and an LLC by the name of Mozzarella Holdings.
