Take a look around Van Leeuwen Ice Cream Williamsburg, opening this very evening. To celebrate the debut of the new shop, the noted ice cream company is giving away free scoops from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. tonight. Van Leeuwen started as a truck way back in 2008 and now operates three shops in addition to this latest one. The new 1,200 square foot facility will serve as a flagship store. It has seating for around 50 guests and will act as the brand's flavor experimentation lab.
