Recalling the early days of Ko resy maniatickets for Lucky Peach's stunt restaurant Ruth Krishna's steakhouse — which the magazine dubbed the best new restaurant in America in its fantasy issue — sold out almost immediately. Momo emperor Dave Chang and chef Akhtar Nawab are staging the restaurant for one night in the old Spina space, serving biryani onion rings, creamed saag paneer, and a tandoori ribeye, with drinks from Nitecap's Natasha David. One tipster told Eater: "I got the email notifying that reservations were open at 10:34 a.m. I checked at10:35 a.m. and there was no availability at either seating. Sad..."

Maybe with all this demand, Chang will consider extending his fantasy restaurant's run by another night or two. Stay tuned for more details on the greatest joke restaurant of 2015 as they become available.
