Michael Stillman to Open Quality Eats in Former Whitehall Space

The updated steakhouse concept sounds pretty similar to Quality Meats, but more affordable.

Quality Eats

Restaurateur Michael Stillman is expanding the ‘Quality' brand this November with Quality Eats. So far, the food concept, an updated steakhouse, sounds pretty similar, if not a bit more modern and affordable than what his team does at Quality Meats just south of Central Park. Partner Craig Koketsu, who is the executive chef of Fourth Wall Group's other restaurants including Park Avenue (spring, summer, fall, winter) will be in charge of the kitchen here serving dishes like bone-in short rib with mini corn creme brûlée. Park Avenue and Clover Club alum Bryan Schneider will run the bar program.

The new project will take over the old Whitehall space at 19 Greenwich Ave in the Village. Reunion Goods & Services, which recently designed The Happiest Hour, will be in charge of designing this 85 or so seat space.
