The Espresso Masters at Sweetleaf Are Now Roasting and Serving in Greenpoint

The new cafe is soft open right now.

The espresso obsessed team behind mini-cafe chain Sweetleaf is growing its presence with a soft opening this week in Greenpoint. At the new cafe, which officially opens next Monday, the team is roasting its beans in house for this location and its three others. Owner Rich Nieto says the menu here will be the same as it is at the other locations, which means coffee fiends can expect multiple types of espresso, and concoctions like the rocket fuel (cold brew flavored with chicory, maple syrup, and milk) and the voodoo child made with Vietnamese-style cold brew. There's also a strawberry-infused iced tea and a selection of house-baked pastries to go with those beverages.
