Take a Look inside Via Della Pace Pizza, Now Open in the East Village

Take a look around the new Roman style pizzeria from the Via Della Pace crew.

The team from East Village charmer Via Della Pace just opened a new pizzeria on St. Mark's Place. While NYC, and the EV especially, has a plethora of pizza options and styles, Via Della Pace Pizza is bringing thin crust, wood fired, Roman style pizza to the table. The cozy space has 40 tightly packed seats, wood accents, and a jumble of sports-related knick-knacks: tennis rackets, a steering wheel from an original Fiat 500, a boxing glove signed by raging bull Jake LaMotta. The menu is quite lengthy for such a small space and features pizzas that are named after Roman emperors and famous gladiators. There are also a wealth of appetizers and a few baked pastas to boot. The beer and wine list is exclusively Italian. Via Della Pace Pizza is open seven days for dinner, with lunch service expected in the fall.

Talke a look at the menu below and the space above.
